Camp Life
Camp is rustic and comfortable. We utilize WeatherPort tents on wood platforms. They are incredibly durable and weatherproof. Guests will have their own 8x10 foot WeatherPort (2 guests per tent) with cots, sleeping bags, propane lantern, and heater. These tents are 8 feet tall so they are not cramped.
Our main tent is a heated 10x30 WeatherPort where we do much of our cooking and socializing, especially in inclement weather. For bathing we use a Banya, which is a propane fired steam bath inside an insulated Weatherport. It is quite relaxing and an excellent way to reenergize at the end of a long day on the river. The brave go for a river dip mid-banya! Toilet facilities are an outhouse separated away from main camp.
Meals are hearty and heavy. We like to eat! Expect a menu that is both rich in surf and turf! Breakfast is fruits, cereals, eggs/potatoes/bacon style meals. Lunch is a burly sandwich with fruit and snacks. Dinner is a splendid mix of local seafood (salmon, halibut, shrimp, etc.), normal carnivorous fare (chicken, steaks, burgers), salads, and sides. If you have special dietary needs please let us know in advance and we will accommodate that accordingly.
Daily activities commence shortly after breakfast and typically wrap up in late afternoon. We utilize jetboats and rafts to navigate the river corridor in our daily activities. We may fish, hike, explore, and watch wildlife on any given day, that is entirely up to you!
We allow clients to take up to 1 full limit of fish home with them, on the last day. This is primarily a catch and release camp.
